These terms govern your use of Halvern. Halvern is a fictional company and this page is sample text for a demo site.

The service

Halvern provides software for bookkeeping, cash flow tracking, forecasting and reporting. We are not a bank, we do not hold your money, and our bank connections are read-only.

Your account

You must give accurate details, keep your login secure and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for the people you invite to your account.

Plans and payment

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Starter is £0. Prices exclude VAT. You can change or cancel your plan at any time and keep access until the end of the paid month.

Free trials

Trials last 14 days. We never take payment at the end of a trial without asking you first.

Your data

You own your data. You can export it at any time, and we delete it within 30 days of a request once your account is closed, except where the law requires us to keep records.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for anything unlawful, try to break its security, or resell it without our written agreement.

Liability

The service helps you manage your finances but does not replace professional advice. Our total liability in any year is limited to the fees you paid us in that year, except where the law does not allow a limit.

Changes and contact

We will give you 30 days' notice of material changes to these terms. Questions go to hello@halvern.example.com. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
